It saddens me that despite the hope and promise of the US constitution and the rhetoric of liberty, the US government continues to be hijacked by religion. Particularly worrying is the involvement in military decision making of people who put an imaginary being above their families and their country. The fight against these religious crusaders, and for freedom of religion in the US military, has begun.
